This kitchen has a refrigerator with an ice dispenser and filter water. KitchenAid whisper quiet dishwasher. Pots, pans, bakeware and serving dishes for family cooking from scratch. 

Cooking & Baking Basics Available: White Flour, Sugar, Salt, Pepper, Canola Oil.

Our sun-filled breakfast nook sits adjacent to the spacious kitchen at the end of house.  Seating for four.

The Dining Room offers classic North Carolina craftsmanship with a table seating 8, with a matching sideboard and illuminated China cabinet. Table linens and placements available in the sideboard. China cabinet is decorative. 

The Sitting Room/Library at the front of the house offers a view of the spacious front yard of the property. This sun filled room offers a comfy couch, four chairs and floor cushions inviting you to read, write, meditate or nap in comfort. 

The Family Room is the gathering space of the house. At present we have one TV with cable in this location only- to encourage together time for groups and families. Open the door to the Sunroom and the Kitchen and sunlight spills throughout the room. Spacious enough for family gatherings and storytelling. Traveling with children- there's room for both the blanket fort, the legos and you! The gas fireplace is decorative and non-functional for rentals at this time. 

The Enclosed Porch, or Sunroom, is at the rear of the house, offering a beautiful view of the open countryside. The ramp to Durham Manor enters the Sunroom. Leave the door to the Family Room open to cool this room with central air from the main house, or, open the blinds and enjoy the warmth of a sun filled space. Perfect of reading, yoga, meditation, delicious afternoon naps and watching the deer in the field emerge as the sunset over the 100+ foot pine tree that is a feature of this historic property.
